Join us online for a 6-week workshop, Thursdays from 1-3pm Eastern Time (18:00-20:00GMT).
Over the 6 sessions, you will share your own meaningful personal story about anything that is important to you. You will also connect with a group of storytellers and support each other through the process. Facilitators will work with you every step of the way and after the workshop is completed you will have produced your own personal short movie! During the workshop we will take you through all the steps needed to create your own digital story, including writing, audio recording, photography and video editing. We provide supportive and collaborative environments in which the process of creation is valued as much as the stories created.
Absolutely no experience is necessary! We will take you through the entire process and teach you everything you need to know.
This workshop includes:
an overview of digital storytelling and our 7-step method
story circle for sharing and feedback
image creation and collection
video editing (software will be provided)
group and 1:1 support
story screening and celebration
light snacks and refreshments
Who should take this workshop?

teachers or arts workers who would like to explore the possibilities of using DST in their classrooms or in their artistic practice.
