About the workshop:
This is a 3-Day workshop on June 26, 27 and 28. We will be hosted at Rice Lake Arts, near Peterborough, Ontario, a gorgeous art centre in the rolling hills overlooking Rice Lake.
Over the three days, you will share your own meaningful personal story about anything that is important to you. You will also connect with a group of storytellers and support each other through the process. Facilitators will work with you every step of the way and after the workshop is completed you will have produced your own personal short movie! During the workshop we will take you through all the steps needed to create your own digital story, including writing, audio recording, photography, video editing. We provide supportive and collaborative environments in which the process of creation is valued as much as the stories created.
Absolutely no experience is necessary! We will take you through the entire process and teach you everything you need to know.
Accommodation is available at various local inns, hotels and B&B’s. See the workshop page for a list of potential places.
